If you have been around here a while, you know that I absolutely love sharing ideas for decorating a classroom. I guess you can say helping teachers with classroom organization and decor is my love language! 🥰 That’s why it breaks my heart to see teachers spend hundreds of dollars every summer getting their classrooms ready for the new school year.

In this blog post, I will be sharing 5 reasons why you should be using printable classroom decor!

1. Printable Classroom Decor Saves So Much Money!

When you begin thinking of ideas for decorating a classroom, you will quickly notice that those small, $3 purchases from big chain stores can add up.. fast! In some cases, you have to buy multiple packs of the premade items to just get enough for your students. When you choose to download your classroom decor and print it yourself, it saves you so much money. You only print what you need and if you mess up, no biggie, you can just reprint your items!

At the end of the year, you might find that many of your items are ripped or destroyed. With your printable items, you can just click and print without having to purchase them all over again. Digital classroom decor is such a money saver! 💰

2. Use Your Own Ideas For Decorating: Customize It!

Next, as you begin looking for ideas for decorating a classroom, you will find that there is no “one size fits all” for classroom decor. No classroom is exactly alike, so that is why it is important to purchase resources you can make your own. With printable classroom decor, you can use PowerPoint to edit the text. You can change the font size, color, face, etc.. and you can even convert to a different language if you need.

3. Ideas for Decorating a Classroom: The Options Are Endless

No more running to multiple stores in an attempt to find the perfect ideas for decorating a classroom. With the digital version, you can find almost anything you can dream of! From Rainbow, Retro, to Pastel Floral, or Boho.. there’s most likely going to be something created that will be perfect for the classroom decor idea you are looking for.

4. Printable Classroom Decor is Much More Convenient

Next, once you convert to a printable classroom decor teacher, you use your resources in a snap to quickly create anything you need. No more waiting for days for your order to come in to support your ideas for decorating a classroom. You won’t even get in the car to go pick up new posters or a door decorating kit. You simply download and print! It couldn’t be easier!

5. You Support Small Businesses (And Teachers Like You! 🤍)

Finally, one of my favorite reasons to shop for digital teaching resources is simply the fact that I help support teachers! Many of the printable resources found online are made by teachers. They’re used in classrooms and instead of big chain stores, you are supporting people just like you!
