Fall Slides Templates
What teacher doesn’t love spicing up the classroom during the fall! I like to break out the fall decor, it always looks like fall exploded in my room. One of the easiest Thanksgiving activities for the classroom is to change my daily Google slides to match the current theme. It brings a smile to my face to see new images and I know the kids appreciate the switch up.

When fall comes around, I like to do ALL the crafts. Even the older kids enjoy them!
We do all sorts of nature walks to look for leaves, compare the leaves we find and talk about what we are thankful for.

Thanksgiving & Fall Newsletters
If you send a newsletter home to your families, you know how beneficial they can be. They keep the classroom and home life connected so everyone is on the same page. They make families feel comfortable with what is going on in the classroom and give them a way to connect when needed.

Show Gratitude to Your Students Using Thankful Notes
We love receiving gifts as teachers, it makes us feel appreciated, loved and valued. Students love knowing they are important in our lives also.
At certain times of the year, I like to give my students little Thankful notes to let them know how much I care about them. I usually attach a sticker, Smarties or some other goodie to the card as a special treat. I print them on cardstock so they aren’t easily torn or crumpled.
They’re a sweet and thoughtful gift to leave for students the day before we leave for Thanksgiving break. I set them on their desks in the morning so they see them when they walk in. If you have a group that can’t handle the morning surprise, you can leave them out later in the day.
